Wisconsin residency is required for LTE positions. No more than 1039 hours may be worked within a 12-month period. Available shifts:

PM (2:30 pm - 11:00 pm) or NOC (10:30 pm - 7:00 am) Please note that the first 3 weeks of employment will consist of training. Time off will not be approved during this 3-week training period. Employees must be available to train/work for 40 hours per week Monday - Friday primarily from 6:30 am - 3:00 pm from October 5, 2026, through October 23, 2026, or November 30, 2026, through December 18, 2026, with availability to work PM or NOC shift during training for clinicals. These are not Pro Re Nata (PRN) positions. These positions will be scheduled for every other weekend in addition to three 8-hour shifts, for a total of 5 shifts, within a two-week pay period. Monitoring and observing patient conditions. Maintaining patient records. Maintaining the safety of the personnel and patients. Maintaining a clean and safe environment. Participating as a team member in patient treatment planning. Assisting with orientating new patients and staff. Utilizing Crisis Prevention and Management (CPM) techniques when verbal or physical intervention is required to protect patient from injury to self, others, or the destruction of property. Ongoing training/education related to patient care will be provided. Salary Information Pay is $37.08 per hour . Night differential is an additional $0.80/hour and weekend differential is an additional $.80/hour. These positions are in pay schedule and range 05/32. Job Details All applicants who may be appointed will be required to allow DHS to conduct a background check to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled. Applicants will not be eligible if they were convicted of a Barred Crime (as defined by Wisconsin Statutes, s. 48.685 and s. 50.065,), or if they were convicted of a crime that is not listed as a Barred Crime, but is substantially related to the position. Individuals must be able to lift 50 pounds several times a day. In addition, individuals need to have the ability to perform complex motor skills and use specialized equipment. Prior to beginning employment, candidates must pass a pre-employment health assessment and pre-employment physical ability and agility screening which could include tasks such as running, lifting, and kneeling. All appointees will be required to receive a TB test, which will be administered by the facility or medical personnel directed by the facility prior to their start date. eligible employer. Qualifications Minimally qualified applicants will have all of the following: Active or eligible for Wisconsin (WI) CNA licensure. Eligible means currently in a program/class to obtain WI CNA certification OR currently holding an active CNA certification in good standing from another state and able to transfer CNA certification to WI via reciprocity.
