Position Overview:

Provides anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist for various surgical and diagnostic procedures, including cardio-thoracic surgeries and cardiac catheterizations. Participates in clinical instruction of nurse anesthesia students.

Qualifications:

Must graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program. Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse with CRNA specialty by the relevant nursing board. Certifications in

ACLS , BLS

, and PALS from the American Heart Association are required. Work experience cannot replace educational requirements.

Key Duties:

Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during procedures Assist in diverse surgical and diagnostic tests Participate in clinical education of nurse anesthesia students

Skills:

Strong knowledge of anesthesia administration, patient monitoring, and adherence to safety protocols. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential.
