Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive primary care services, perform advanced clinical assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans for diverse patient populations across all ages. Your expertise will help promote health, prevent illness, and manage acute and chronic conditions in a variety of settings, including outpatient clinics and telehealth platforms. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient lives through proactive healthcare delivery and collaborative practice. Responsibilities Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments to evaluate patient conditions accurately. Prescribe medications, including controlled substances, in compliance with DEA regulations and state laws. Manage acute and chronic illnesses by developing tailored treatment plans and providing ongoing patient education. Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic, eClinicalWorks, or Cerner for documentation, order entry, and medical records management. Perform diagnostic procedures including venipuncture, suturing, tube feeding management, and basic sonography when necessary. Provide telehealth consultations to expand access to care and deliver timely medical advice remotely. Qualifications Valid Family Nurse Practitioner certification with current state licensure. Demonstrated experience working in primary care settings with diverse patient populations. Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as MEDENT & Epic for accurate medical documentation. Strong knowledge of physiology, pharmacology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques. Experience with medication administration, joint injections, cryosurgery Familiarity with specialty areas such as geriatrics, basic pediatric, sports medicine, and behavioral health Excellent client communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on health management strategies.
