65% of services billed Position Summary Our outpatient behavioral health facility is seeking a PRN Psychiatric Assessment Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide psychiatric assessments for patients at our Youngstown, Ohio office. This position is specifically focused on patient assessments and evaluations . The NP will not be responsible for ongoing patient management or routine follow-up care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and evaluations Obtain and document relevant psychiatric, medical, and psychosocial history Evaluate presenting symptoms and behavioral health needs Develop appropriate diagnostic impressions and recommendations Complete assessment documentation in the facility's electronic health record Communicate assessment findings and recommendations with the clinical team as appropriate Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Follow all applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory standards Qualifications Must be a Nurse Practitioner (NP) Appropriate Ohio licensure and credentials to provide psychiatric/behavioral health services Experience conducting psychiatric or behavioral health assessments preferred Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Ability to work independently and maintain professional standards Excellent communication and organizational skills Compensation The selected NP will receive 65% of services billed out for assessments personally performed. This is a PRN position , making it an excellent opportunity for an NP seeking flexible supplemental work while providing focused psychiatric assessment services.
