Service Area Lead Caregivers must be willing to travel throughout our Orange County service area, including Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Corona del Mar, Santa Ana, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Garden Grove, Westminster, and surrounding areas. Reliable transportation is required. Position Summary As a Lead Caregiver, you will provide hands-on care while serving as a reliable resource for both clients and fellow caregivers. You'll help cover urgent staffing needs, assist with new client starts, train and mentor new caregivers, and ensure high-quality care is delivered across our service area.This position requires flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to confidently care for clients with varying levels of needs. Candidates must be available to work weekdays and weekends and be willing to provide coverage for scheduled and urgent shifts as needed. What You'll Do Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization Provide companionship and emotional support Transport clients to appointments and errands using your personal vehicle Safely assist with transfers using gait belts, Hoyer lifts, and other mobility equipment Observe and report changes in client condition Cover open and emergency shifts as needed Train, mentor, and support new caregivers during orientation and field training Complete accurate documentation using company software Qualifications Must be available to work weekdays and weekends with a flexible schedule Minimum one year of professional caregiving experience in home care, assisted living, skilled nursing, hospital, or similar setting Previous leadership or mentoring experience is preferred Current California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration or CNA certification preferred Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred Valid California driver's license Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance Ability to pass a criminal background check Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and safely assist with client transfers Comfortable working with clients requiring varying levels of care Why Join Our Team?
