$24.00 - $28.00 per hour Position Overview Channel Islands Post Acute is seeking compassionate, dependable, and motivated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing team. Our facility is dedicated to providing high-quality short-term rehabilitation and long-term care services to our residents in a supportive and team-oriented environment. As a CNA, you will play an essential role in helping residents maintain dignity, comfort, and quality of life while assisting the nursing team with daily resident care. What is a Skilled Nursing Facility? A Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) provides 24-hour nursing care and rehabilitation services for patients who require medical support, therapy, or assistance with daily living activities. Residents may include individuals recovering from surgery, illness, injury, or those needing long-term nursing care and support. CNA Responsibilities Certified Nursing Assistants assist residents with activities of daily living and provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nurses.Responsibilities include:
Assisting residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene Helping residents with mobility, transfers, and repositioning Assisting with feeding and hydration as needed Taking and recording vital signs Answering resident call lights promptly Maintaining clean and safe resident environments Observing and reporting changes in residents' conditions to nursing staff Supporting residents with compassion, patience, and respect Assisting nurses and therapy staff with resident care needs Documenting care provided according to facility policies Qualifications Current California CNA certification required Current BLS/CPR certification preferred Compassionate and patient-centered attitude Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Skilled nursing or healthcare experience preferred but not required Benefits & Incentives Competitive pay: $24-$28 per hour Supportive team environment Career growth opportunities Flexible scheduling options Tuition Reimbursement Program for CNAs within one year of graduation: 50% of CNA tuition reimbursed after 6 months of employment Remaining 50% reimbursed after 1 year of employment Join Our Team If you are passionate about caring for others and want to make a meaningful impact in residents' lives, we encourage you to apply and become part of the team at Channel Islands Post Acute.Job Types:
