The primary purpose of this role is to provide residents with routine nursing care in accordance with established care plans and nursing standards under the direction of the nursing team What You'll Do Provide compassionate, resident-centered nursing care in accordance with established standards and care plans. Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort. Participate in resident admissions, transfers, and discharges. Follow and support individualized resident care plans. Assist with meal service and support residents during dining as needed. Maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for residents and fellow team members. Properly utilize equipment and supplies while following safety standards. Accurately complete daily documentation and charting requirements. Participate in training, in-services, and team meetings to continue growing professionally. Qualifications Skills You Need Must Have Skills Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. Current CPR certification. Ability to communicate effectively in English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with residents, families, and coworkers. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain active throughout the workday. Nice to Have Skills Previous experience in long-term care, rehab, assisted living, or senior living. Experience with electronic medical record documentation. A passion for working with older adults.
