Job Description

DESCRIPTION
Waypoint Delta, a licensed Florida nurse registry, is looking for an experienced, dependable CNA for a private in-home client in the St. Pete Beach (Pass-a-Grille area) . This is a long-term opportunity with one client — the family wants the right person to stay with them, not another face in a rotation. Caregivers referred through Hallmark work as independent contractors (1099) . About the client and the care — we want to be completely upfront so the right fit steps forward. You'd be caring for a woman living with ALS.
The role involves:
Mechanical (Hoyer) lift transfers, about 3-4 times a day — you must be experienced and confident operating a lift safely (up in the morning, into her chair, into a wheelchair for showering). The lift is electric Assisting with bathing/showering and daily personal care. Mixing her feeding formula — she manages her own PEG feeding, so you'd prepare and mix the formula only; you would not administer feedings or medications (the family handles those). Companionship and steady, caring support for her and her family. The home has three large, friendly dogs — you should be comfortable around big dogs. Who we're looking for: Active Florida CNA in good standing Real experience with mechanical lift transfers and higher-needs clients (ALS/neuromuscular a plus) Reliable, patient, and committed to a long-term placement Comfortable with pets (three large dogs in the home) Able to pass background screening and standard registry onboarding Schedule — up to seven days a week, with flexibility: A single full day (~12-hour block) , which many caregivers prefer, or Split coverage — a daytime block plus an evening block (roughly 5-9 PM) so the family can get out of the house.

Benefits:
Flexible schedule Application Question(s): Are you available to work at least 20 hours a week?
