- Apply today stat tomorrow Responsibilities Provide assistance to patients in day-to-day activities Administer medications and document them in medical records Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration) Assist with transfer and preparation of beds and supplies for patients/families Observe changes in residents' physical condition or in their behavior and report them to the physician or to the director of nursing or manager Administer vitamins and other supplements to patients who need them Check patients' blood pressure, temperature and heart rate to ensure they are healthy Assist patients with their physical therapy exer Do research to find information about causes of illnesses and injuries Skills Proven experience as a nursing assistant or relevant role Valid license to practice nursing assistant in
