Night Shift - Be the Calm in Someone's Night! Are you a compassionate CNA or CMA who thrives in a quieter environment and loves making a difference? Join the amazing team at Morningstar Assisted Living and help our residents feel safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout the night. Position Overview - CNA/ CMA (Assisted Living) As a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) in our Assisted Living & Memory Care communities, you play a vital role in supporting the health, dignity, and quality of life of our residents. You will assist with daily personal care, promote independence, and build meaningful relationships with those in your care. In addition, CMAs are responsible for safely administering medications and monitoring residents for any changes in condition.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide companionship and emotional support to residents Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition Assist with mobility and transfers , using proper lifting techniques Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living environments Respond promptly to resident calls and needs
For CMAs:
Administer medications accurately and document according to state regulations and facility policies Work closely with nursing staff, families, and other team members to provide person-centered care
Qualifications:
Valid
CNA / CMA
certification Previous experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, patient, and reliable Ability to work as part of a team and follow care plans Have the ability to "wear multiple hats" when needed
