Job Description

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in our vibrant senior living community. In this role, you'll provide hands-on assistance with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, and hygiene while promoting dignity and independence. You'll take and record vital signs, observe and report changes in condition, and support nurses in delivering individualized care. CNAs also help with meals, social engagement, and light housekeeping to ensure a safe, comfortable environment. You'll work closely with a supportive, resident-first team committed to high-quality care and meaningful connections every day. Responsibilities Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and grooming Support safe resident mobility, transfers, and positioning using proper body mechanics and assistive devices Measure, record, and report vital signs and changes in residents' condition to nursing staff Assist with meal setup, feeding, and hydration while following dietary guidelines and safety protocols Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment, including light housekeeping tasks Document care provided and observations accurately in accordance with community and regulatory standards Support residents' social engagement and participation in activities to promote well-being Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures at all times Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and other team members to deliver coordinated, resident-first care Communicate respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and colleagues Required Skills Personal care and activities of daily living (ADL) support Vital signs measurement and basic resident monitoring Safe transfer and mobility assistance Infection control and standard precautions Basic medical terminology Electronic or paper care documentation Observation and reporting of changes in condition HIPAA and resident privacy practices Time management and task prioritization Teamwork and professional communication
