Job Description

Brightview Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Memory Care CNA to support residents in our vibrant memory care neighborhood. In this on-site role, you'll provide person-centered assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and toileting while using safe transfer and infection control practices. You'll closely observe and report changes in residents' conditions, maintain accurate documentation, and partner with nurses and caregivers. You'll also engage residents in meaningful, dementia-friendly activities, helping create a safe, warm, and respectful environment where each senior can thrive. Responsibilities Provide person-centered daily care and support for residents in memory care neighborhoods Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility using safe transfer techniques Monitor and report changes in residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional status to nurses and supervisors Support residents during meals, hydration, and medication reminders per care plans Engage residents in therapeutic, social, and recreational activities tailored to dementia needs Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care and observations in electronic or paper records Follow infection control, safety, and emergency procedures to protect residents and associates Communicate respectfully and compassionately with residents, families, and team members Collaborate with nursing and care teams to update and follow individualized care plans Help maintain a clean, safe, and comforting environment in resident rooms and common areas Required Skills Personal care and ADL assistance Safe resident transfer and mobility support Dementia and Alzheimer's care techniques Vital signs monitoring and reporting Infection control and safety compliance Documentation and charting of resident care Observation and escalation of condition changes Team communication in healthcare settings De-escalation and redirection techniques Time management in fast-paced care environment
