Certified Nursing Assistant 391 Pelham Road, New Rochelle, NY 10805 From $24.29 an hour - Full-time From $24.29 an hour - Full-time United Hebrew is a leading senior living campus committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our residents. We are seeking dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our team and help residents achieve their highest practicable level of functioning. Key Responsibilities Provide personal care including bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and toileting. Assist with meals, feeding, and recording intake/output. Observe and report changes in resident condition to nursing staff. Transport and position residents safely using proper techniques and equipment. Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas. Support residents during appointments and recreational outings. Document care activities on CNA accountability sheets. Follow facility policies including fire safety and resident rights. Participate in in-service training and meetings. Current NYS CNA Certification. Completion of approved CNA training program or prior experience as a nursing attendant. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to read, write, and speak English. Compassionate personality suited for working with the elderly. Satisfactory references. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; occasionally up to 100 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Visual and auditory acuity to observe and respond to resident needs. Preferred Skills Experience in geriatric care. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with CNA accountability documentation. Under the supervision of a licensed nurse, the CNA provides direct resident care and supports all aspects of daily living to ensure comfort, dignity, and safety.
