12/31/2026 11:38 AM Eastern Position Summary Delaware County Community College (DCCC), Allied Health & Nursing department located outside of the Philadelphia Metro area, is looking for talented and dedicated Adjunct Nursing Instructors to join our team of faculty who are committed to student success. Adjunct Nursing Instructors will have an opportunity to teach clinical at various clinical sites. Recent nursing clinical experience in ICU, Medical/Surgical, or Obstetric required. Candidates must be enrolled in a Master's in Nursing program (MSN) or have their MSN degree. Essential Functions Responsibilities include teaching clinical and simulation lab courses in nursing concepts. Other responsibilities will include orientation to the clinical facility, preparation time and completion of paperwork for clinical and students. Faculty members are expected to provide high quality instruction and to implement assessment as necessary based on department requirements. Mentoring support will be provided for individuals new to clinical nursing education. Day and evening assignments are available. Experience & Education The ideal candidate must have the following: Master of Science in Nursing degree (MSN) preferred. Must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and be enrolled in a Master of Science in Nursing degree program (MSN). Candidates should demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and potential for an outstanding career in teaching. Demonstrated ability to teach courses at the community college level. Minimum of 3 years nursing clinical experience in nursing specialty areas: ICU, Medical/Surgical, Obstetric, and acute care areas.
