Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

Current, valid Occupational Therapist license Experience working in school-based settings strongly preferred Proficiency in assessments, intervention planning, and progress monitoring for pediatric and adolescent populations Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents Ability to manage a caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines Adaptable, resourceful, and committed to delivering high-quality, student-centered care

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations for students as referred Develop and implement individualized intervention and treatment plans based on assessment findings and IEP goals Provide direct therapy to students as outlined in IEPs, collaborating with educators to adapt interventions to the classroom setting Monitor, document, and report on student progress, adjusting therapy plans as needed Participate in IEP meetings and provide input as a subject matter expert Deliver training and consultation to staff and families regarding strategies and accommodations for classroom success Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all school and federal guidelines This full-time, 40-hour-per-week contract position offers the chance to build meaningful relationships and support students' independence and success in their daily activities.
