Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will assess, develop, and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance patients' functional independence across a variety of settings. Your expertise will support individuals of all ages, from pediatrics to geriatrics, helping them achieve their highest potential through evidence-based occupational therapy practices. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments to evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting improvement in activities of daily living (ADLs), motor skills, and sensory processing. Assist patients with ADLs such as dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting to promote independence. Coordinate discharge planning and collaborate with case management teams to ensure seamless transitions across care settings. Support patients with neurodevelopmental disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and other disabilities through specialized interventions. Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations using electronic health records (EHR). Participate in clinical interprofessional collaboration to optimize patient care outcomes across inpatient, outpatient, home health, skilled nursing facilities, and school environments. Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities across diverse populations including pediatrics, geriatrics, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and evidence-based occupational therapy practices. Skilled in implementing occupational therapy programs tailored to specific needs such as early intervention or post-acute care. Excellent client communication skills to educate patients and families about treatment plans and progress. Ability to develop comprehensive care plans and treatment strategies aligned with patient goals. Experience working with students with disabilities or special education needs in school settings is highly desirable. Proficiency in medical documentation, clinical assessments, case management, and electronic health records management. $50.00 - $55.00 per hour
