Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a significant impact in a dynamic school environment as an Occupational Therapist, providing essential support to students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time contract role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively with dedicated educators and allied professionals in a supportive setting close to Wilton, ME. You'll bring expertise in school-based occupational therapy practices to empower students, helping them succeed academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

Valid OT license in Maine Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Previous experience in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to meet diverse student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to a varied student population from August 20, 2026, through June 9, 2027 Assess, plan, and execute individualized therapy interventions informed by student assessments and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student participation in school routines Document progress, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in IEP meetings as required Educate staff and families on strategies to enhance student independence and engagement
