Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist Masters degree in Occupational Therapy is required Prior experience in pediatric or school-based therapy settings is highly valued Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Adept at developing and implementing individualized treatment plans Dedication to fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for students of varying abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify students needs and develop personalized intervention strategies Deliver direct therapy sessions targeting fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care, and adaptive functioning Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to integrate therapeutic goals into classroom routines Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed to ensure positive outcomes Provide guidance and resources to families and school personnel to maximize student success Uphold ethical standards and best practices within the scope of pediatric occupational therapy
