Qualifications/Experience:
Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Current NM state OT license (or ability to obtain prior to start) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to evidence-based and inclusive therapy practices
Key Responsibilities:
Provide school-based OT evaluations, develop plans of care, and implement individualized therapy for students Collaborate with teaching staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain clear and accurate documentation meeting all legal and procedural requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to student goal planning Adapt interventions to meet the diverse cultural and developmental needs of students
