9666143-02860 Job Description Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as an Occupational Therapist in a welcoming school-based setting near Pawtucket and East Providence, RI. This assignment is ideal for those looking to expand their experience in pediatric and school environments, with a manageable, one day per week schedule (7.5 hours each week). Youll be providing essential OT services on-site during a 6-12 week leave coverage, starting as soon as possible and continuing through approximately December 4. Your role will focus on delivering direct therapy, assessing student needs, and collaborating with a dedicated educational team to foster student success and independence.

What you bring:

Valid OT licensure in Rhode Island Experience or strong interest in school or pediatric OT Ability to manage a varied caseload across K-12 populations Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration Flexibility to adapt to shifting school priorities and student needs Strong teamwork and organizational abilities Responsibilities include: Conducting assessments and developing individualized treatment plans Providing direct therapy services on-site to K-12 students Documenting progress, maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations Consulting and collaborating with teachers, staff, and families Supporting school staff with strategies to promote student participation in daily activities This W2 contract offers a competitive pay rate of $47-53 per hour, recognizing your experience and professional commitment.
