Qualifications:

Active ME COTA License required Background working in schools, healthcare, or home health settings as a COTA or Occupational Therapist is highly valued Experience providing direct and consultative OT services for a range of ages, ideally PreK-12 Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Strong organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students across PreK-12, individually and in small groups Support development of fine motor, sensory processing, self-help, and other functional skills within the school environment Document interventions, maintain accurate records, and monitor student progress in compliance with school and regulatory standards Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists Implement therapist-driven strategies to help students access the curriculum and maximize independence This is a contract, part-time role working approximately 9 hours over 2 days each week, starting as soon as possible.
