AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct, monitor, communicate with and evaluate all field employees in his/her assigned area in coordination with the Director of Operations Supervise and manage a team of paramedics and EMT's in the Dallas region Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures Monitor and evaluate the performance of team members Provide training and development opportunities to team members Oversee the implementation of patient care plans Ensure that all equipment and supplies are in good working order Maintain accurate records and reports Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families Respond to emergency situations as needed Perform other related duties as assigned Promptly investigates incidents involving assigned units or personnel, including, filing of internal and external reports, and counseling staff. Ensure maintenance of adequate levels of staffing, equipment and medical supplies for field units by cooperating with the logistics department. Maintain communication with departments. Coordinates and update the Scheduler, on daily basis, on scheduling issues that arise. Serve on committees with other departments to set policies and generate ideas. Perform other related duties as required. Maintain availability during disaster situations or mass casualty incidents and assist in any capacity needed. Provide CPR, BLS, ALS, and PALS Classes. Be professional, friendly, and cooperative with all employees. Be available to communicate with crew and management 24/7.
Qualifications :
Ability to coordinate activities closely with others in stressful situations Ability to effectively communicate Verbal / Written English Ability to take direction and adapt to changing situations/job duties Experience with quality assurance, scheduling, and coordination. 5 Years experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred Active Paramedic Texas License EMS Instructor Certification Bachelor Degree in EMS or other related field is a plus.
