As a Personal Training Manager, you will lead a dynamic team of personal trainers, drive member engagement, and foster a motivating environment that promotes health and wellness. This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine leadership, sales expertise, and a love for fitness to create an inspiring experience for clients and staff alike. Your energetic approach will help elevate our fitness community and ensure exceptional service delivery. Duties Recruit, interview, and onboard new personal trainers, ensuring they align with our standards of excellence and customer service. Develop comprehensive training programs and ongoing development initiatives to enhance team skills and performance. Manage daily operations of the personal training department, including scheduling, shift management, and resource allocation. Drive membership sales through effective marketing strategies, upselling personal training packages, and maintaining high client retention rates. Oversee client consultations to assess fitness levels, set personalized goals, and monitor progress regularly. Maintain accurate records of client sessions, trainer schedules, payroll, and departmental budgets. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a positive, inclusive environment that motivates both staff and members. Experience Proven management experience in a fitness or retail environment with supervisory responsibilities. Strong background in personal training, fitness coaching, or related health sciences. Demonstrated success in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees or team members. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency is highly desirable. Familiarity with sales management, marketing strategies, and customer service best practices within a gym or retail setting. Experience with inventory management of fitness equipment or retail products is a plus. Proficiency in administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, budgeting, and POS (Point of Sale) systems. Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams, manage schedules effectively, and handle cash handling responsibilities confidently.
