The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in fitness instruction, with a focus on Pilates techniques that promote the principles of mat pilates (Concentration, control, centering, flow, precision and breathing) Your enthusiasm for fitness, combined with your ability to connect with diverse groups, will help foster a positive and empowering atmosphere for all members. Duties Lead group Mat Pilates classes that cater to various skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety at all times Develop innovative Pilates programs that incorporate principles of body mechanics, physiology, and anatomy to maximize results Provide personalized guidance and modifications to accommodate individual needs and limitations Educate clients on the benefits of Pilates for posture, flexibility, strength, and injury prevention Promote a welcoming environment that encourages participation, motivation, and community engagement Qualifications Certification in Pilates instructions a plus from a recognized organization or equivalent experience in teaching Pilates techniques Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics relevant to movement training Experience in group fitness instruction with the ability to motivate diverse audiences Familiarity with related disciplines such as yoga, dancing, cycling, or sports coaching is a plus Demonstrated ability to design effective fitness programs tailored to individual goals and abilities Excellent communication skills with a passion for helping others improve their health and fitness journey Prior experience in gym or health club environments preferred; familiarity with fitness sales is advantageous
Pay:
$40.00 - $50.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 - 12.0 per week
