Job Description

Are you passionate about early childhood development and love working with preschoolers? PowerKids Center is looking for a fun, energetic, and caring individual to join our team as a Preschool Development Gymnastics Instructor!
Key Responsibilities:
Support the head preschool instructor in delivering engaging, age-appropriate gymnastics classes. Be a consistent, positive role model for preschool-aged athletes in the Coachella Valley. Provide excellent service to families while creating a safe, welcoming, and fun environment. Bring energy and creativity to each class, ensuring preschoolers stay inspired and excited to learn. Help children build motor skills, coordination, confidence, and basic gymnastics techniques. Plan and prepare playful lesson outlines that follow PowerKids Center's curriculum and best practices. Keep accurate attendance and class records.
Schedule:
Assist with 3-9 classes per week with opportunities to take on more responsibility over time.
Qualifications:
Experience in early childhood education, childcare, theater, cheer, or gymnastics is highly valued. A dynamic, outgoing personality with a genuine ability to connect with young children. Flexible, team-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, small business setting. Committed to encouraging positive social skills and supporting inclusive environments. Brings enthusiasm, fairness, and creativity to every coaching moment. Previous experience with preschool-aged children or coaching is preferred. Gymnastics knowledge is a plus but not required —we provide full training for the right candidate!

$17.00 - $22.00 per hour
