In this role, you will lead engaging and effective Pilates classes using reformer machines, helping clients improve flexibility, strength, posture, and overall well-being. Your passion for fitness, combined with your expertise in body mechanics and exercise programming, will inspire members to achieve their health goals while fostering a positive and motivating environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to share your knowledge and enthusiasm for fitness with a diverse client base. Duties Lead group Reformer Pilates classes, demonstrating proper technique and ensuring safe practice for all participants Design and adapt workout routines tailored to different skill levels, fitness goals, and physical conditions Provide clear instructions on exercise routines, emphasizing correct body mechanics and biomechanics principles Motivate clients through energetic coaching, encouraging consistent effort and progress Monitor participants' form during classes, offering hands-on guidance or modifications as needed Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health and safety standards, including manual handling procedures and first aid protocols Promote fitness programs and membership packages to enhance client engagement and retention Requirements Proven experience teaching Reformer Pilates or other group fitness classes with a focus on Pilates instruction Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and body mechanics relevant to Pilates and general fitness training Certification in Pilates instruction; additional certifications such as Yoga, Yoga instruction, or Sports coaching are advantageous Familiarity with fitness industry standards including CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, first aid, and manual handling procedures Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients and foster a supportive environment Physical fitness training experience with the ability to demonstrate exercises effectively; comfortable with heavy lifting when necessary Knowledge of program design for group fitness classes that incorporate diverse exercise routines such as cycling, dancing, CrossFit, or sports coaching experience is a plus Passion for health club environments and delivering exceptional customer service in the fitness industry Join us as a Reformer Pilates Instructor to inspire clients on their wellness journey while advancing your career in a vibrant health-focused community.
