Job Summary $10,000 SIGN
ON BONUS
($5,000 after completing 3 months and $5,000 after 12 months of Satisfactory employment). We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supervising Pharmacist to lead our pharmacy team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations, maintain compliance with all regulatory standards, and foster a collaborative environment focused on patient safety and service excellence. Your expertise in clinical pharmacy practices, medication management, and team leadership will drive the success of our pharmacy services. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic healthcare setting. 2 months notice required if you decide to leave.
Schedule Monday-Thursday:
10:00AM - 6:00
PM Friday:
9:00AM-4:00

CLOSED Duties Lead and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient service Oversee medication dispensing processes, including compounding medications and managing inventory to meet patient needs Ensure compliance with all federal and state pharmacy laws, including HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements Conduct patient assessments, provide medication counseling, and support clinical pharmacy initiatives such as immunizations and pain management programs Manage pharmacy operations within Micro Merchant PrimeRx Pharmacy software. Maintain strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance policies and ensure staff are trained on confidentiality protocols Collaborate with healthcare providers on medical management plans, patient care strategies, and medication administration protocols for diverse populations including pediatrics and acute care patients Requirements Valid pharmacist license in good standing with New York state licensing requirements Proven experience practicing as a pharmacist in independent retail pharmacies Critical care experience preferred, with knowledge of physiology, anatomy, drug regulation, and clinical terminology Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy teams effectively while fostering a culture of safety and excellence Strong understanding of pharmacy operations including inventory management, aseptic technique, IV infusion/insertion, and compounding medications per USP 797 standards Experience with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems, EHR systems, and pharmacy software applications Basic life support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications such as immunizations or advanced medical management are advantageous Knowledge of healthcare compliance regulations including HIPAA and pharmaceutical regulatory policies Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service and patient care excellence Join us to lead a dedicated team committed to delivering safe, effective medication therapy while advancing your career in a vibrant healthcare environment.
