ASAP Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Receive and process prescription orders from healthcare providers Maintain proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical supplies Assist with inventory management and restocking pharmacy shelves Ensure compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations regarding medication safety and distribution Collaborate effectively with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Previous pharmacy technician experience, preferably in a hospital setting Familiarity with prescription processing and medication dispensing procedures Knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced healthcare environments Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not required This assignment offers the chance to contribute to quality patient care within a respected medical center and gain valuable experience in a hospital pharmacy setting. Candidates must be ready to start immediately and commit to the full duration of the contract (13 weeks or more).
