Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Certified Pharmacy Technician specializing in ALF (Assisted Living Facility) order coordination. The ideal candidate will possess extensive pharmacy technician experience, including LTC (Long-Term Care), hospital, or community pharmacy settings, with a focus on medication management, regulatory compliance, and customer service. This role offers an opportunity to support efficient medication distribution while ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and standards. Full-time position 8am-4:30 pm with occasional weekends and holiday support. Duties Coordinate medication orders for assisted living facilities by accurately entering data into pharmacy software systems and verifying prescription details. Communication with prescribers, or their designee to ensure signed orders are on file for all medication orders. Collaborate with nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure timely medication delivery and resolve any order discrepancies or issues. Strong ability to maintain organization while multitasking Must be able to communicate professionally by phone and email. Maintain strict adherence to pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, including state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulations, and medical terminology standards. SKILLS AND REQUIRMENTS

Valid certification as a Pharmacy Technician with active registration in the relevant state(s). Must be PTCB or ExCPT certified. Proven experience in LTC pharmacy, hospital pharmacy, or community pharmacy environments; LTC or critical care experience is highly desirable. Knowledge of pharmaceutical calculations, drug regulation, medical terminology, and pharmacological terminology. Experience with pharmacy software systems and accurate data entry. Strong understanding of state healthcare regulations, federal pharmacy laws, and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards. Excellent patient service skills with a focus on maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering compassionate care. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced environments such as hospital or acute care settings; hospital experience is advantageous.
