Key Responsibilities As a Physical Therapist at Vitalize Physical Therapy, you will: Manage a caseload of patients, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care while collaborating closely with physicians and the patient care team. Conduct thorough patient assessments to develop and implement individualized care plans focusing on achieving rehabilitation goals and enhancing patient engagement. Provide clinical evaluations in accordance with established laws and ethical standards, effectively utilizing therapeutic methodologies to enrich patient outcomes. Education patients, families, and caregivers on the proper use of therapeutic exercises and adaptive devices necessary for recovery outside of therapy sessions. Evaluate and adjust therapy techniques as needed, continuously monitoring patient progress and modifying treatment plans in response to changes in patient status. Prioritize workload effectively, making necessary staffing and assignment adjustments based on the daily operational needs of the practice. Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work with a diverse cohort of patients, including both adults and children, who require rehabilitation services for various orthopedic conditions. Your experience and empathetic approach will enable you to provide comprehensive support to patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic ailments, all while addressing their unique physical and emotional needs. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, with a current and valid Physical Therapy License. Completion of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred. Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required within the first month of employment.
