Position OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Blackwood Physical Therapy and Wellness Center in Anaheim, California.

This full-time position is critical for helping our patients reclaim their mobility and improve their overall physical function.

In your role, you will utilize your expertise in assessment and treatment to enhance the quality of life for your patients through evidence-based interventions.

About the OrganizationBlackwood Physical Therapy and Wellness Center is a premier orthopedic outpatient practice committed to delivering exceptional rehabilitation services.

Our facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with advanced sports medicine technologies and tools.

We take pride in our patient-centered approach and our team of dedicated healthcare professionals, which includes two licensed physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant.

We primarily work with patients who have private medical insurance, ensuring comprehensive care tailored to their needs.

Work EnvironmentThis role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation center in Anaheim, California.

Our facility is designed to foster collaboration and promote high standards of rehabilitation care.

You will have access to modern treatment modalities and a supportive team-oriented atmosphere that encourages your development and innovation as a physical therapist.

Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations to identify patients' objectives, conditions, and requirements, tailoring treatment plans accordingly.

Manage and provide effective care for an average of one patient per hour, delivering personalized therapy sessions.

Implement evidence-based practices in physical therapy to develop comprehensive treatment plans that may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.

Monitor patient progress continuously, adjusting treatment protocols based on assessments and outcomes.

Document all therapeutic services provided through EMR systems, specifically WebPT, ensuring accurate patient records and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and orthopedic specialists, to optimize patient care and shared treatment goals.

Promote patient adherence to therapy and lifestyle adjustments to enhance physical capacity and overall well-being.

Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on orthopedic outpatient care, assisting patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions that affect their mobility and functional independence.

You will work closely with individuals spanning various age groups and activity levels, ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to seniors striving to maintain their physical functionality.

QualificationsDoctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California with a clean record free from board actions or disciplinary issues.

Proficient in manual therapy techniques and developing customized exercise plans.

Skilled in using EMR platforms, particularly WebPT, to manage patient records effectively.

Preferred ExperienceAt least two years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.

A strong background in rehabilitation techniques specifically related to sports injuries.

Experience in collaborating within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and BenefitsThe salary for this position ranges from
USD 100,000
to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
