Qualifications:

Master's degree in Physical Therapy required Current state license to practice Physical Therapy (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Previous experience or strong interest in pediatric settings, preferably within schools Excellent communication, assessment, and documentation skills Creative problem-solver with a positive, student-centered approach Ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a school environment

Responsibilities:

Provide direct physical therapy services to students with diverse needs as outlined in their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on helping students improve mobility, strength, and functional skills for classroom participation and daily living Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to maximize student outcomes Conduct assessments, maintain accurate and timely records, and document progress Participate in IEP meetings and staff consultations as needed Educate staff and caregivers on techniques and strategies to support student goals across school settings
