In this short-term assignment, covering from August 17th to November 4th, youll provide essential educationally-related physical therapy to students across mixed grade levels, with a special focus on transition-aged individuals (ages 2022). This onsite role is ideal for professionals passionate about helping students gain or compensate for deficits in gross motor skills within a collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

Active and current Illinois Physical Therapy licensure is required Demonstrated pediatric experience, particularly within school settings Solid background in delivering therapy in educational environments Adaptability to work with various age groups, especially transition-aged students Collaborative approach and excellent communication skills

Role Responsibilities:

Administer physical therapy services tailored to special education students Evaluate, plan, and implement interventions that address educational needs related to gross motor skill development Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain thorough and timely documentation in alignment with school protocols Support the transition and growth of older students preparing for post-school environments Provide insights and recommendations to enhance students access to their learning programs
