Essential Qualifications:

Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain) Experience in a school-based or pediatric environment is highly preferred Strong understanding of IEPs and compliance within educational frameworks Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt therapy interventions to diverse student needs Responsible, organized, and committed to foster a positive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations of students to determine physical needs and appropriate interventions Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students' educational goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to facilitate effective therapy integration in the classroom Monitor progress, update documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings Educate and guide school staff on best practices to support students' physical mobility and participation Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of student information
