9629513-87532 Job Description An exceptional contract opportunity awaits a physical therapist interested in working within a school environment on a part-time basis. This role supports three studentsa kindergartener, a 5th grader, and a 6th graderfrom August 17 through May 20. The expected schedule is roughly three hours per week, including both direct and indirect therapy services.

Key Qualifications:

Active Physical Therapist licensure required Current NMPED license mandatory Previous experience working with pediatric or school-age populations preferred Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff Strong communication, time management, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver individualized physical therapy services in line with each students IEP or 504 plan Assess, develop, and adjust therapy goals based on ongoing student progress Provide thorough reports on therapy sessions and progress Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and parents to promote student success in the classroom Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and regulatory guidelines Attend scheduled team meetings as needed and participate in IEP planning This position offers an excellent way to make a direct impact on students lives while maintaining a flexible, part-time schedule.
