DIEMWest Babylon, NY | L.I. Premier Physical & Aquatic Therapy L.I. Premier Physical & Aquatic Therapy is looking for a motivated, compassionate Physical Therapist to join our growing team on a part-time/per diem basis at our brand-new West Babylon facility. Premier offers the opportunity to work in a modern, state-of-the-art rehabilitation and performance facility alongside a supportive and motivated clinical team.

EVENING HOURS AVAILABLE

We are currently looking for coverage during the following hours:

Monday & Wednesday:

4:00 PM-8:00

PM Tuesday & Thursday:

4:00 PM-8:00 PM There is flexibility to work one or more evenings per week depending on your availability.

A FACILITY BUILT FOR MOVEMENT & PERFORMANCE

Our West Babylon facility provides therapists with the space and equipment to deliver modern, functional physical therapy , including: 60-foot turf field Dedicated performance and functional training area Power racks and strength-training equipment Sleds and resistance equipment Plyometric boxes Free weights and functional exercise equipment Advanced rehabilitation equipment Wide-open space for movement assessment, functional training, and return-to-sport rehabilitation Our therapists are encouraged to use the facility and its equipment to provide the highest level of care possible.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient's goals and functional needs Provide high-quality orthopedic and sports rehabilitation Utilize functional movement, strength, mobility, and performance-based interventions Progress patients through appropriate stages of rehabilitation and return to activity Build strong relationships with patients and create an exceptional patient experience Educate patients on their condition, treatment plan, and home exercise program Communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers when appropriate Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records Work collaboratively with a dynamic team of physical therapists

WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

Holds a current New York State Physical Therapist license Has experience in outpatient physical therapy; orthopedic experience preferred Is passionate about patient care and clinical excellence Has strong communication and interpersonal skills Is comfortable working independently while being a collaborative team member Wants to continue learning and developing as a clinician Takes pride in creating a positive and engaging patient experience New graduates may be considered based on experience and fit.
