Mercy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for our outpatient therapy department. In this role, you will evaluate, plan, and implement evidence-based treatment programs for patients with orthopedic, neurological, and post-surgical conditions. You'll collaborate closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, educate patients and families on home exercise programs, and document care in our EMR. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized outpatient therapy treatment plans Deliver evidence-based interventions including manual therapy and therapeutic exercise Document assessments, goals, and progress accurately in the EMR system Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on care plans Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and self-management Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities Required Skills Orthopedic assessment Manual therapy Therapeutic exercise prescription Patient evaluation and documentation Care plan development Use of rehabilitation equipment EMR documentation Patient and family education Outpatient musculoskeletal rehabilitation Interdisciplinary collaboration
