Category Schools - PT - Telehealth Job Type Contract A need exists for a skilled Virtual Physical Therapist to provide specialized telehealth services for a student in Florida. This position is contract-based and offers flexibility with per diem hours focused on delivering targeted care and support as outlined in the student's Individualized Education Program (IEP).
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver physical therapy services virtually for one student, ensuring individualized care during 90-minute sessions each quarter. Complete compensatory therapy time to address delays from prior months, facilitating the student's progress. Participate in IEP meetings as required, collaborating with educators and family members to discuss the student's development and adjust therapy plans. Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes in compliance with applicable standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Licensed Physical Therapist with valid credentials to practice in Florida. Experience providing telehealth physical therapy services in an educational setting. Knowledge of school-based physical therapy practices and IEP processes. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage time efficiently and work independently in a virtual environment.
