Job Description

Category Schools - PT Job Type Contract Embark on an impactful contract assignment as a school-based Physical Therapist working with K-12 students in an itinerant role across multiple school sites. This onsite position offers the unique opportunity to make a difference in the educational journey of children with diverse physical needs, collaborating closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster every student's success. The assignment extends from as soon as possible through late May 2027, with regular full-time hours.
Key Qualifications:
Active Physical Therapist license in South Carolina is required Prior experience in pediatric, school-based, or educational therapy settings is strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Ability to adapt interventions to support students across a range of ages and abilities from kindergarten through high school Competence in managing a mobile schedule and working at multiple school locations Demonstrated organizational skills and commitment to professional growth
Your Responsibilities:
Deliver targeted physical therapy services to students with therapeutic needs in accordance with Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and regularly document progress toward established objectives Participate in multidisciplinary IEP team meetings and provide expertise on student physical needs Consult with classroom staff to adapt activities and promote safe, accessible learning environments Travel between assigned schools as needed, ensuring timely support where it's most needed Enjoy the satisfaction of meaningful work within a supportive educational community through the duration of your assignment.
