Job Description

Step into a dynamic and impactful contract position supporting students across the southwest Houston area. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) offers the unique opportunity to work with a diverse K-12 population, serving approximately 160 students—50 of whom require direct physical therapy services. The caseload is shared between two professionals, ensuring comprehensive support and collaboration. You'll primarily use the district office as your home base and travel between up to 50 campuses, facilitating hands-on care and guidance where it's most needed. The assignment begins ASAP and continues through the end of May 2027, with daily schedules running either 8:00-4:00 or 7:30-3:30, depending on campus hours.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Current Texas Physical Therapy license required Open to seasoned PTAs with significant school or pediatric experience Experience with K-12 student populations highly preferred Proficiency with Frontline and SuccessEd documentation systems is a plus Able to meet state fingerprinting and background check requirements Candidates must not be former employees of the district, and prior district terminations will preclude appointment (affidavit required) Must be willing to travel to various campuses within the district
