9686043-77459 Job Description Step into a dynamic educational setting in the Houston area and bring your expertise in pediatric physical therapy to a community that values high-quality student support. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity offers a rewarding experience collaborating with school teams across multiple campuses, serving K12 students with diverse needs. In this pivotal role, youll use your skills to provide direct and consultative physical therapy services, supporting student success throughout the district. With a manageable caseload of 160 students divided between two therapists50 requiring direct servicesyoull play a key part in helping students achieve their goals. A district office serves as your home base, with travel to various campuses on the southwest side of the city.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Texas PT license required (or PTA, if highly experienced in schools/pediatrics) Fingerprinting and state background check must be completed before start Strong school-based or pediatric physical therapy background Experience with documentation tools such as Frontline and SuccessEd preferred Availability for full-time, onsite work (37.5 hours/week) following school schedule Excellent communication and collaboration skills Must not be a former employee of the district or have a record of termination from any school district (affidavit required)
Key Responsibilities:
Assess and deliver physical therapy interventions for K12 students across multiple campuses Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to develop and implement effective therapy plans Maintain timely and accurate documentation in Frontline and SuccessEd Travel between schools as needed, using the district office as a central base Support both direct and consultative service needs within the caseload This position invites you to make a meaningful difference while sharpening your clinical skills in a school-based, multidisciplinary environment.
