Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting K-12 students physical development and well-being in a dynamic school environment near Missouri City, TX. This full-time contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate PT or an experienced PTA with a strong background in school-based or pediatric settings. Youll make an impact across up to 50 campuses, collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure students receive the direct services and support they need.
Key Qualifications:
Current Texas Physical Therapist (PT) license required; highly experienced PTAs in school/pediatric environments considered. Ability to work onsite and travel between multiple campuses throughout the Houston Area (Southwest side). Experience with K-12 caseloads and willingness to support documentation in Frontline and SuccessEd platforms. Able to commit to full-time hours (37.5 hours/week), with typical shifts of either 8:00-4:00 or 7:30-3:30, depending on school. State-mandated fingerprinting/background check required (prior prints in system may suffice). Candidates must never have been employed by this district before and not previously terminated from any school district (affidavit will be required).
Primary Responsibilities:
Partner with another PT to serve a total caseload of 160 students (50 direct service), ensuring individualized care strategies. Deliver PT interventions, complete assessments, and document progress according to school district guidelines. Utilize the district office as a home base and drive to various school sites as needed. Collaborate with faculty, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student IEPs and promote functional mobility in the educational setting.
