Job Summary Physical Therapy office looking for a physical therapy aide part time to work (15-20 hours) days, evenings, and some Saturday Mornings. No experience necessary we will train. Must be able to travel to all 6 offices. If interested please send your resume in so that an interview can be set up. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Aide to join our team. This role is essential in supporting physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with experience in various care settings, including outpatient clinics and inpatient facilities. The Physical Therapy Aide will assist with patient intake, treatment preparation, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for therapy sessions. Duties Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. Prepare treatment areas by cleaning and organizing equipment. Help patients with exercises and mobility tasks under the supervision of licensed therapists. Conduct patient intake by gathering medical history and relevant information. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes to the supervising therapist. Ensure a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines. Support administrative tasks as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Requirements Knowledge of physiology and anatomy is essential. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred, particularly in acute care or outpatient environments. Familiarity with medical terminology related to physical therapy practices. Experience working with diverse populations, including geriatrics and orthopedic patients. Understanding of post-acute care processes is advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while providing excellent patient service. Strong communication skills to interact positively with patients, families, and staff members. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
