Physical Therapy Technician
Job Description
As a Physical Therapy Technician with AFC Physical Medicine of Mesa, your work can have Purpose. You will work closely with our Physician Assistants and Chiropractors to provide the best patient care. This includes trigger point therapy (chair massage), assisting in the physical therapy/rehab area, overseeing patient stretching and exercises, and coaching patients on Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and proper use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME).
Responsibilities may also include:
nutrition and inflammation screening, environmental & food allergy testing, spirometry testing, vascular testing, immunotherapy injections, Managing patient records-ensuring accurate documentation in EHR systems. Answering phones, scheduling appointments and other misc administrative tasks. You are most likely a fit if … You have 1+ year experience working in a medical or chiropractic office You are comfortable engaging with patients, providing massage, coaching them through stretches You have Integrity - commitment to maintaining consistent attendance, to stay organized and pay attention to the details.
