Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive clinical expertise, demonstrate exceptional patient care skills, and have experience working across diverse medical settings. As a vital member of our healthcare delivery system, the Physician Assistant will collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, evidence-based care. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) like Dr.
Chrono. Assist in diagnostic evaluation by interpreting laboratory results, imaging studies, and diagnostic tests including radiology and ultrasound procedures. Prescribe medications in accordance with collaborative practice agreements while adhering to Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) regulations and HIPAA guidelines for patient confidentiality. Requirements Certification as a Physician Assistant from an accredited program with current licensure to practice in the state of employment. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for procedures, and medical records management.
