Job Description

Make a meaningful impact on students lives by bringing your expertise in educational psychology to a supportive school environment near Thermal, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled School Psychologist ready to work full-time for the full school year, serving as a trusted resource for students, staff, and families. Youll have the chance to collaborate with a dedicated educational team, assess student needs, and help create strategies that foster student success both academically and emotionally. Preference will be given to candidates who are local to the area or those truly seeking to become a permanent part of the community.
Desired Qualifications:
Active California School Psychologist License is required Previous experience in school settings preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage and prioritize multiple caseloads Commitment to culturally responsive practice Desire to work full-time through the school year
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results Support and guide development of IEPs, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams Provide direct interventions (consultation, counseling, behavioral strategies) to ensure student success Assist staff and families in understanding and addressing learning and behavioral needs Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress and program effectiveness Serve as an advocate for students social-emotional well-being If youre passionate about helping children reach their fullest potential and want to build lasting relationships within a vibrant educational community, this is the perfect fit for you.
