Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a meaningful opportunity to support students' growth and well-being as a School Psychologist in the beautiful Coachella Valley area. This full-time, full school year contract assignment offers the chance to collaborate closely with students, educators, and families to foster a positive learning environment. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments, developing and implementing individualized education plans, providing counseling support, and consulting with staff and families. You'll utilize your expertise to facilitate interventions and ensure that each student has the resources necessary to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. To be successful in this role, candidates should possess: A valid California School Psychologist license Experience providing psychological services within a school setting Strong assessment, consultation, and counseling skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities A proactive, solution-focused mindset Preference for local candidates seeking long-term opportunities in the area; this position is not open to temporary travelers unless relocation is desired As the caseload is being finalized, you'll have the flexibility to adapt your practice and collaborate with a supportive educational team.
