Job Description

We are now accepting applications for neuropsychology research interns with the Framingham Heart Study's Brain Aging Program. This position is ideal for undergraduate students studying Pre-Med, Pre-Health, Biology, Psychology, Public Health, or Neuroscience (and related fields). Program Details Internship through spring 2027 Half time (20 hours per week)
Location:
Framingham, MA. All work must be done ON-SITE, so all applicants must be able to commute to Framingham. This is NOT a remote position. Internship Description We are seeking students with strong attention to detail who are interested in gaining experience with clinical research in neuropsychology, cognition, dementia, aging, and technology. Interns will assist with ongoing research at the Framingham Heart Study-Brain Aging Program. Office hours are 7:30am-5:30pm and ideal applicants are available for at least 4-hour blocks. Roles and Responsibilities Engage with participants to download and initiate cognitive tasks on a smartphone Conduct retention efforts by providing reminders to participants to complete study activities Troubleshoot technological issues for our digital cognitive studies Interact with participants on the phone, via email/text, and in person Participate in team meetings Support the development of project documentation and protocols Assist the team with research activities, including but not limited to: Entering data collected during neuropsychology testing Preparing neuropsychology test batteries and other pre-testing prep Printing and completing reports Scanning and shredding documents Pulling and returning charts Other organizational tasks Candidates must be comfortable speaking over the phone. Experience in IT, working with older populations (65+), and working in a healthcare setting is a plus but not required. Please include a resume and cover letter when applying.
