Research Psychologist (Evidence Synthesis) SME IV
Position:
Research Psychologist (Evidence Synthesis)
SME IVLocation:
Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE)
Work Environment:
Hybrid / Telework Eligible (Routine and situational telework is authorized. Facility space restrictions may necessitate part-time or full-time telework.)
Clearance Required:
TIER 2: Non-critical sensitive position (Must be able to obtain and maintain)

$130,000 - $175,000The SME IV - Research Psychologist (Evidence Synthesis) applies advanced meta-analytic and systematic review techniques to published research to inform psychological health policy and clinical guidance. This expert will provide senior-level recommendations on key topic areas such as PTSD, depression, and suicide to advance the PHCoE research mission.

The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
  • Provide senior-level expert recommendations on psychological health topic areas, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, and suicide.
  • Design and conduct research investigations applying evidence synthesis techniques using existing published research (e.g., systematic reviews).
  • Analyze and interpret complex research results to guide decision-making.
  • Produce technical artifacts (e.
g., reports, tools, briefings, presentations, and manuscripts) consistent with the PHCoE mission set.
Required Qualifications:
  • Doctorate (PhD) in Psychology.
  • At least 13 years of full-time postdoctoral work experience directly related to the planning and execution of research in the field of psychological health.
  • At least 5 years of full-time postdoctoral experience supporting psychological health research studies applying evidence synthesis and meta-analytic techniques to published research.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Proficiency with specialist evidence synthesis software (e.g., Covidence) and statistical analysis tools.
  • Demonstrated publication record in high-impact psychological or medical journals.
