Hybrid / Telework Eligible (Routine and situational telework is authorized. Facility space restrictions may necessitate part-time or full-time telework.)Clearance Required:
TIER 2: Non-critical sensitive position (Must be able to obtain and maintain)Status:
Full-Time Salary Range:
$120,000 - $168,000 The SME IV - Research Psychologist (Health Services and Population Research) serves as a principal investigator and expert resource for executing novel research utilizing large administrative healthcare datasets. This role is instrumental in guiding epidemiological and health services research to improve psychological health outcomes for the MHS. The Job Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:- Provide senior-level expert recommendations on psychological health topic areas, including PTSD, depression, and suicide.

- Design and conduct health services research investigations using large military administrative healthcare datasets (e.g., diagnostic epidemiological studies).
- Analyze and interpret complex research results.

Required Qualifications:
- Doctorate (PhD) in Psychology.
- At least 13 years of full-time postdoctoral work experience directly related to the planning and execution of research in the field of psychological health.
- At least 5 years of full-time postdoctoral experience supporting health services research studies related to psychological health using large administrative healthcare datasets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience working directly with military medical data repositories.
- Advanced proficiency in statistical and epidemiological research design.
